Furnace Loan Program Financing Available Now!

Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas are excited to announce the launch of the on-bill financing program for high-efficiency furnaces! Financing options are available beginning today for qualified residential customers.

Eligible residential customers of Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas can now apply for a low-interest loan to purchase a high-efficiency furnace through the Illinois Energy Efficiency Loan Program. A loan through the program can be paired with a rebate for a qualifying furnace through the Peoples Gas or North Shore Gas Natural Gas Savings Programs for even greater value to your customers. Installments on the loans will be conveniently included on customers' monthly gas bills. Best of all, there's no cost to you.

Highlights of the Illinois Energy Efficiency Loan Program:

• Financing provided by AFC First Financial Corporation, a national leader in residential energy-efficiency lending programs;
• Owners of single-family homes, condos and multi-unit buildings with no more than four units are eligible;
• Applies to natural gas furnaces rated at least 92 AFUE;
• Loans of up to $20,000 available to cover materials and labor;
• 4.99 percent interest rate on terms of 3, 5 or 10 years;
• No down payment required;
• Work must be performed by approved contractors/dealers;
• No cost to contractors/dealers to become approved or participate;
