Air conditioning chicago contractor states about how Chicago Botanical Garden is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. My family and I went there Sunday and it was just gorgeous all the flowers were in bloom. The Botanical Garden has 385 acres and waterways and 23 formal gardens. It’s a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon.
My favorite is the Japanese Garden, it is called Sansho –En which is the Garden of Three Islands. The Japanese garden features pine trees that are pruned to look like idealized form of aged trees. It also has lanterns and bridges made of natural material. Lanterns were originally used to light the way to the Buddhist temples, at the Japanese garden there are stone lanterns that lend beauty and a sense of age to the garden.
The Garden also features a beautiful wooden arched bridge. The bridge symbolizes your crossing of your journey of ever day life into the peaceful environment. There is a small concrete zig zag bridge that connects two of the islands in the Japanese garden. In Japanese folk lore it is said that evil spirits can only follow you in a straight line so zig zag bridges prevent evil spirits from crossing over with you. This garden and all of the Chicago Botanical Garden is best viewed while walking. It is a serene beauty and I would recommend it to everyone.
