Have you driven on 2-94 aka the highway to hell lately? My son had a baseball game up in Oak Park, so I thought I would make good time by getting on 2-94. I got on the ramp on 127th and Cicero.
Big mistake! It’s under construction, what again? It seems like every couple of years it’s under construction. Bringing improvements to you, so they claim. They have one lane, cement wall to your left and ripped up road with workers on your right. Ok, now I got a guy in front of me doing about 10 mph and I got a guy in back of me riding my a@@, with nowhere to go but straight ahead. It took me about 30 minutes to get to the 95th street exit, which I made a dash for, figuring I take my chances on Harlem. Maybe if they would improve the 2-94 with quality materials and quality workmanship maybe it wouldn’t need to be improved every couple of years. Ya think?
I couldn’t wait to go home to my nice cold central air conditioner system. I lowered the temperature on the thermostat and really chilled out.
