Dogs always seem to appear when we are performing a repair on air conditioning outdoor units. Recently, the same thing happened while installing a air conditioner in Midlothian off 145th and Pulaski Rd. The boxer just came upon us, and when we realized this fact, we nearly jumped out of our skin. The good thing is that the dog was friendly. I have a picture of the customer and his dog as well as Salvatore on his first installation of a central air conditioning system complete with the copper line set and evaporator coil. The kid is a natural hvac specialist!

Salvatore`s first Westinghouse air conditioner installation.

This Picture depicts Midlothian a/c or central air conditioning installation. The next picture shows the home owner and Salvatore. The home owner and Salvatore hit it off, and my customer was pleased with the price of the air conditioning installation as well as the look and performance of the air conditioner.

The Westinghouse warranty is ten years with a quality pledge. If the compressor fails in ten years, Westinghouse will pay my rate to install a new condenser for you. It is a great deal!

Customer And Boxer Thanking Salvatore For A Job Well Done!

Installations of either furnaces, boilers or central air conditioning requires more than just installing the equipment. There are step by step start up procedures that have to be performed for a proper and quality installation of the equipment. Many of the air conditioning systems repairs we make (especially when they are new) are faulty start up procedures. The other problem with air conditioning systems we routinely run into is either dirty condenser coils or furnace/air handler filters or both. Air conditioning clean ups and checks can save you money. Air conditioning tuneups also can tell us if the evaporator coil is dirty by checking the air conditioners freon gas pressures. Dirty evaporator coils cause many problems, the worst of them are poor indoor air quality.

Do you have a great air conditioning installation story?

Chicago — On his road to homeownership, Scott Leibfried has learned one thing: Expect the unexpected.

He and his wife had an offer accepted on a home, only to later find that foreclosure proceedings were about to begin on it. That’s after they considered another home that was aesthetically pleasing but had major issues that came to light upon closer inspection.

For previously owned homes, an inspector will estimate the age of major components, giving the home buyer a sense of when they will need replacing. A furnace, for example, often lasts 12 to 15 years; a water heater from 10 to 12 years, he says.

I have seen this happen several times over my 28 year career in the heating & cooling industry. Lets save you and your family the headache of dealing with this problem by calling:

We are currently running several heating and cooling specials from installation to repair, give us a call and we will gladly list our spring specials. We will be adding the spring heating and cooling coupons soon, so check back often. I forgot to mention we also sell, repair and install air conditioning systems at affordable prices in and around Chicago. Hey Ed feel free to edit this post as I was just doing it to see where it would show up in a search in Google for Chicago heating repair. I’m sure you could fill this in better than I did and hopefully this works!!!Enjoy this summer and hopefully all is well with your air conditioner!

If you think about it, you will have to dig deep into your pockets to get that special. What I mean by that is to receive such a great deal like that, you will have to buy the most energy efficient central air conditioner on the market (ie 22 Seer 410A Two Stage). The cost of such a unit is overwhelming. To be honest, the energy savings in the long run does not warrant such a purchase. Another way some companies get you with a deal like this is that yes, you get the furnace for free but not the cost of installation or the additional parts needed to install it. Another gimmick on the market is that “we will beat any competitor’s price by $500!”. However, are they comparing apples to apples. Are they giving you the same unit? Most likely not. You get what you pay for in life. That definitely holds true in the HVAC world. If you aren’t sure if you are getting a good number from your HVAC contractor, then you need to get 3 quotes for the same exact equipment. That will tell you what you should be paying.

What deals are you seeing out there?
